Managing recording in progress

During recording, you’ll see a toolbar which not only provides real-time information about your recording but also allows you to control it flexibly. Below are the main features of the toolbar and how they can help you:

1. Recording Buttons

The toolbar includes intuitive buttons to help you manage your recording easily:


Stop

  • Click the "Stop" button to end the recording and save the file.

Pause

  • Click the "Pause" button to temporarily stop the recording without losing what you've already recorded.

Auto Stop

  • Click Auto Stop, set the end time, and click Confirm. 1001 Record will automatically stop the recording and save the file when the preset conditions are met.

File Size

  • Update in real-time to show the size of the file being recorded, so you know how much storage space it's using.

3. Audio & Camera Controls

The audio and camera buttons on the toolbar give you full control over audio and video inputs during the recording:

System Audio

  • Turns system sounds from your computer on or off during recording.

Microphone (Voice Input)

  • Turns microphone input on or off during recording.

Camera

  • Turns your webcam feed on or off during recording.

  • Often used to include a "picture-in-picture" view of yourself in one corner of the screen.

  • Allows you to add annotations, highlights, or shapes to your recording to emphasize key points.

5. Hide Toolbar (Optional)

If the toolbar gets in the way of your recording, you can choose to hide it.

  • Important Note: Even if hidden, you can still control the recording using keyboard shortcuts or re-enable the toolbar whenever needed.
