System Audio Recording
1001 Record is a powerful screen recording tool that not only allows you to capture high-quality video, but also records system audio. You can capture everything your computer plays, including video soundtracks, game audio, and app sounds, for a complete recording experience.
To record system audio, make sure your macOS version is 13.0 or higher.
How to Enable System Audio Recording?
Step 1: Check Your macOS Version
Ensure your macOS version is 13.0 or higher. If it’s below 13.0, you won’t be able to record system audio. Updating to the latest version will give you full functionality.
Step 2: Launch 1001 Record and Set Up Your Recording
Open 1001 Record: Make sure the app is installed and running.

Enable System Audio Recording: Click the Speaker icon to turn on system audio.

Choose Your Recording Area: Select whether you want to record the entire screen, a specific area, or just a window.
Step 3: Start Recording
Once you’ve set your audio and recording area, hit “Start Recording.” 1001 Record will begin capturing both your selected screen area and system audio.
