New Recording

Every time you launch 1001 Red cord, a new recording interface appears, ready to assist you in creating recordings with just a few clicks.

Step 1. Select your Camera, Microphone, System Audio and Video Resolution

1001 Record is compatible with external cameras and microphones for enhanced recording options.

  • Camera:Click the Camera icon to enable or disable the camera. Click on the dropdown menu and choose the camera you want to use. Once enabled, you can customize the size and position of the camera feed.

  • Microphone:Click the Microphone icon to enable or disable the microphone. Click on the dropdown menu and choose the microphone you want to use.

  • System Audio:Click on the System Audio icon to toggle system audio on or off.

  • Video Resolution: Click on the dropdown menu to select an appropriate resolution.

Step 2. Select the recording mode: Entire screen, Region, Window or Camera

If the file save path has not been set, please set it first.

  • Record entire screen:Click “Entire screen"

  • Record area: Click "Area" → Drag the desired area or input your preferred dimensions → Click ”Start Recording

  • Record single window: Click "Window" → Select the window you want to record → Click ”Start Recording

Step 3. Wait for the Recording Countdown

Before the recording starts, there will be a 3-second countdown to prepare. Once the countdown ends, 1001 Record will start recording.

Step 4. Finish the Record

Once you have completed your recording, click the red button.

Step 5. Export the Record

Before exporting the record, you can edit it. For a detailed guide, please refer to Edit the recording.


You can change the save location and file name, choose whether to merge audio, then click "OK" to export the record.
