Record Keyboard

Record Keyboard lets you display keystrokes on screen during screen recording — perfect for creating tutorials, coding demos, or presentations. Here's how to set it up:

Step 1: Click the Keyboard Icon

Open 1001 Record and click the keyboard icon on the toolbar to enable keystroke display.

Step 2: Grant Accessibility Permissions

To allow 1001 Record to capture your keystrokes, you’ll need to grant system permissions.

Click “Go to Setting” when prompted

In the opened System Settings window, click the "+" button

Find and select “1001 Record”, then click “Open”

Click “Quit & Reopen” to apply the changes

Once permission is granted, keystrokes will begin to appear on screen. You can customize:

  • Position: Drag to move the keystroke box to any location

  • Size: Resize the keystroke display for better visibility

  • Background Color: Choose a background that fits your style

  • Blur Background: Toggle background blur for focus

  • Keystroke Type: Show All Keys or only Shortcut Keys

Step 4: Select Recording Mode & Start Recording

Choose your desired recording mode from the main panel to start recording.

Your keystrokes will appear in real time during the recording!
